Non-Materialistic Needs of Business

All things affecting your sales funnel.

Non-Materialistic Needs of Business

Your business needs to be your best friend—someone you enjoy spending time with.

It should not be an ‘unbearable’ process that you have to go through every day.

Most of us were brought up to believe that we needed this HUSTLE culture to be heard and accepted in any way possible.

But that’s not how this is supposed to be.

Recently I have been reading the 4-hour Work Week by Tim Ferriss and quite frankly it is the fourth time. It has so many things to be absorbed and learned that I don’t believe it can be done in just one good read.

Another one that I have recently read for the second time is HYPERFOCUS by Chris Bailey.

Not only do these books break down the most relevant parts of the business that go unnoticed,

But also focus on how not to make your business ‘annoying’.

So, this one’s gonna be specially focused on that.

Before we move ahead with the list,

Moving ahead,

1. Momentum

The first and almost the only thing that fails a business 90% is momentum.

Nothing fixes your business like a continuous stream of conscious content that is flowing to the market to make sure your audience is educated and at the same time keep them entertained.

At times, businesses do not really care how their content calendar looks or works, but it is important. Fix your Content Calendar.

  • Divide in 3 quarters of 4 months.

  • Every Quater focus on one specific goal: could be Brand Awareness, Audience growth, or Conversion, but plan in advance.

  • Create 3 Content Pillars for each of the Quater. Sit and Brainstorm what you need.

  • Create long-form content which can be cut down to short-form content.

  • Keep the first 10 days of the month to set up and schedule most of it, in advance.

This will make sure you do not break your momentum. Even when you don’t want to work, you will have a machine do your work for you.

2. DEAL

No this is not for you to crack the right deals, or make your lead gen process perfect.

it’s about:

  • D = Delegation

  • E = Elimination

  • A = Automation

  • L = Liberation

Delegate what can be done by someone else, Time is wayyyyy more valuable than your money. If there’s something you are not good at, delegate. If something bored you but is important, delegate.

the faster, the better.

Eliminate what is not needed, at times we do things in our business which we believe might be very important for the company but it turns out they are not.

they are tasks that consume time and do not result well.

Automate what can be done without the involvement of humans, so it is not really necessary you get 10 people to work for you.

Better than one person working on that 10 software for you.

Saves time. Saves Energy.

Lastly, Liberate yourself from the basic foundations of business. There are 10,000 ways to work.

If one is too hefty for you, leave it. there’s a reason you started this business and it was not for struggle.

3. The OIL = $$$ = Attention

The most important thing in this world is attention.

You could have heard 10 people saying this differently, and each one is correct.

Companies are buying and selling large chunks of data just to have an idea of what their ideal audience enjoys.

It’s all not for nothing.

As the world moves towards the rapid growth of AI Technology, it is important to remember that they are not here to compete with us but to make things better.

Adapt and learn the best possible ways to grab attention through AI and software.

To start,

  • Copy.ai: Getting your Copy

  • ChatGPT: Understanding, learning, and creating engaging write-ups

  • MeaVana: Having your personalized dashboard.

  • Notion: All Project Management Tasks

4. 1 IN 60.

The 1 in 60 rule is a rule of thumb that talks about

If a pilot has traveled sixty miles then an error in the track of one mile is approximately a 1° error in heading and proportionately more for larger error.

This simply means keep a track of what you are aiming for.

At times, in business when more and more people are involved the business at times goes in a direction that may slightly be different, and then when looked back, it is not what it was meant to be.

It is general mathematics.

To stay on track,

Focus on One Major Goal at a time. This ensures that not only do you stay on the main major goal, but you will also be able to reach it within the decided point of time.

5. Burnouts.

Burnouts are one of the major reasons for a business owner to be demotivated to continue doing something for long.

I have struggled with this and stopped working on 3 major things in my business.

Eventually, it took me more time than I thought to get back up, to avoid this at top do 3 things:

  • Delegate. what you don’t like, what takes time, anything at all.

  • Stop over-processing shit. It is not necessary. You are just a monkey with a business plan.

  • Be fair. don’t put all your eggs in one basket. keep them well divided.

6. Deep Work.

Why do you need to work 8 hours if you can get it done within 4?

You don’t. The best best way to position your business in growing is to make sure not just you, but your workers are able to do deep work when they do.

The easiest way to implement this into your business is by:

  • Setting a philosophy, or a technique like Pomodoro to keep you in that position of working.

  • Track your progress with every session you do.

  • Make sure you are giving your mind enough leisure time.

  • Reduce digital distractions as they take up most of the time.

It may seem like this is a lot but it is very simple and setting up a living for your business does not take much.

In our Cohort based program, The Circle talk all about how to keep your mindset in the right direction while moving towards your end goal.

Get yourself a spot in the team, and meet all these business owners working to grow their businesses, one day at a time.
